I don’t touch anyone when traveling.
Also, I take a vitamin everyday making sure I get lots of “C”.
Last but not least, I take airborne!

Here are mine for traveling:

I always take the comforter off the bed. Hotels don’t wash them as often as they wash the sheets (maybe once a week at the high end places). I take my own sheets and pillow too. But that might be extreme for most people.

Stay Hydrated! It’s easy to get dehydrated during a long flight. If your sinuses are dry, that’s a way for flu/cold viruses to get you.

If you’re wanting to get the h1n1 flu shot and everyone’s out in your area, when traveling, take a look at the local drug stores. I just got both the seasonal and h1n1 while on a biz trip.
